FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF PASCO NAMES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, MANNY LONG

Long brings wide ranging financial leadership experience with Pasco County government plus extensive community service.

DADE CITY, FLORIDA (February 6, 2023) –First National Bank of Pasco (“FNB”)—a community bank that is committed to making banking more accessible and convenient to its customers through technological innovation (fintech)—today announced the appointment of Manny Long as its new Chief Financial Officer, reporting to the President and CEO, Steven D. Hickman. Long, who is currently serving as Finance Director for the Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller’s Office, will join the bank on February 6.

“Manny Long has proven his financial management expertise and integrity during his service to the County,” said Steven D. Hickman, President and CEO of FNB.  “We have known him, his work, and his reputation for some time, so we are thrilled to have him join us. He is going to be a strong and vital member of the bank’s management team.  He is also well in tune with our core value of service to the community.”

For the past 12 years, Long has worked in various positions within the County Clerk & Comptroller’s Office, with the Finance Director being one of the highest non-elected offices in the County Clerk’s office.  He manages more than $2.6 billion in County finances, primarily with the Board of County Commissioners.  His office oversees information management, record keeping, and financial management for the Circuit Court, including Florida’s third largest trial court, the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court.

Long serves on the Boards for Habitat for Humanity of East/Central Pasco County, Leadership Pasco, Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County, The Florida Trust Investment Advisory Board, and Florida West Coast Credit Union.  He also serves as a High School Ministry Leader for Bay Life Church.
